Simply Baked Salmon
Salmon is a pink and silver fish that belongs to the same family as the trout. This specie lives in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and in lakes like the Great Lakes. This fish is rather good for health since they are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin D. Preparing to cook salmon is easy and can be done in many ways.
You can use fresh salmon, smoked salmon, or canned salmon, and you still end up with really tasty meals that are easy to prepare. Here are is a simple way to handle salmon in the kitchen when cooking:

Slice a pocket in the middle, but do not cut all the way. Insert some slices of lemon in the pocket. Add two cloves of garlic that have been chopped and sprinkle black pepper. One way to cook it is with the use of an oven.

Wrap the salmon loosely and start heating the over to 350 degrees before you put the salmon inside.

Let it stay in the oven for about 10 minutes. Check if the meat is a bit flaky or still looking heavy. If still not ready, let it stay for another 4 minutes. The fish is ready to go when it is a bit flaky.

Take out the fish and let it just sit in the foil for a few minutes before you serve it with a sauce you like so much (say lemon and butter, or marinara).
