Simply Broiled Salmon
Salmon is one of the healthiest fishes you can serve on your dining table. This specie of fish is quite a treat especially if you can prepare it properly for your family, friends, or visitors.
There are many ways to cook salmon. There’s baking, broiling, frying, and poaching. This specie of fish can be used as a base ingredient for so many recipes and can be served by itself. What’s great about this fish is that it suits the health conscious, as well as those people who are watching their weights. Salmons are nutritious, too.
If you want to serve is as the main course, you can just simply bake it. Brush it with butter and then set it on a greased pan. Pop it into a preheated oven (350 degrees) for some 10 minutes. When flaky, your salmon is ready.
You can also choose to steam the salmon. Just treat it with some wine and light seasoning. Add some spices and fresh herbs to the water you will boil for the steaming, and you have an instant delight after a few minutes.
Poaching is a healthy way of eating salmon. Mix chicken broth, white wine, water, a teaspoon of garni and simmer. Poach for about 7 minutes and then serve it warm together with your sauce of choice. You can also chill it first and serve it cold to your guests if you wish to.
Broiling is also a way to cook salmon. Preheat the oven and the pan you will use. Lightly brush the salmon fillets or steaks with flour and brush it with butter and light seasoning. You will have to turn the fillets while you are broiling. The steaks should be turned once to cook both sides.
